Dear Mr. M . . .
Dr. Robbins of the Trinity Foundation forwarded your letter, and I thank you for your kind words.
I was interested in the graphs attached, especially the concluding statements on the last page, with the headline Science Contains No Truth. As a mechanical engineer with a good knowledge of physics, you can make this stick.
You might be interested in reading my book The Philosophy of Science and Belief in God. Its last half contains an analysis of laboratory procedures. Most unfortunately I did not end Chapter One properly. I should have pointed out that modern Calculus can no more explain how motion begins than ancient Zeno could.
I pray that your influence will be widely effective.
Yours Sincerely,
Gordon H. Clark
[Dr. Clark’s works have had a deep influence on my thinking. My studies have been enriched by them, even though I no longer agree with some of his conclusions. I doubt that he would endorse the 1TP Theory of Truth. Dr. Clark passed away in 1985.]
